	Family members of José Antonio Sánchez at the "Rally for Racial Justice." Mr. Sánchez was killed by New York City police on Feburary 22, 1997 when five vice squad officers stormed the Queens restaurant where he worked as a cook. Police claim that he refused to put down his kitchen knife, but witnesses say that the officers did not identify themselves. (New York 1997)
