While doing the Gay Pride project, I was especially drawn to the activists. I began covering demonstrations in New York then in Washington D.C. then in Philadelphia and worked on the project from 1995-1999. The work was put on hold while I worked on a second degree, but I still managed to make it to a demonstration now and then. The project was reborn during The Republican National Convention.
