Machu Picchu Bus Racer:
Buses shuttle visitors between Aqua Calientes and Machu Picchu,
about 1000 feet above, via a winding "switchback"
road.
When a bus leaves the top, the racer waves to the passengers
and takes off running down the mountain in a straight line
while the bus travels the winding road.
Several times along the way the racer will be seen standing
on the roadside and will wave to the passengers as the bus
passes.
Finally, he will be waiting for the bus at the end of the
trip.
The driver allows the boy to board where the tourists willing
give monetary congratulations for this impressive and entertaining
feat.
