This is the third Presidential Inauguration that I have covered. The weather was brutal, with the temperature hovering around 20 degrees, but the atmosphere could not have been warmer. Despite the fact that this was the largest gathering ever on the National Mall, there were no arrests. I didn't even hear a harsh word. The general attitude seemed to be, "You can not anger me because I'm so happy". The shared euphoria was an amazing thing to experience.
